How do I access app?
The app has been developed as a web platform for the trial, so that we are able to obtain vital user feedback before developing a native app.
Access the app via the Tresilio landing page. You should access the landing page from the device that you will be using for the trial; either your personal mobile or tablet.
For the best experience we recommend using Safari browser for iPhone devices and Chrome for Android devices.
Landing page: www.tresil.io
From the landing page click on the link to open the app.
To add the Tresilio icon to your homescreen follow these steps:
- Chrome – Tap on the three dots in the top right hand corner and choose 'Add to home screen' from the list. The Tresilio icon will appear on your desktop.
- For Safari – Tap on the share icon on the bottom of the screen and choose 'Add to home screen' from the icon list. The Tresilio icon will appear on your desktop.
Is my data confidential?
I don’t think that I have any issues with my mental health. Is Tresilio meant for me?
Yes, Tresilio is built for three different user groups: healthy individuals, those with early stage symptoms (subsyndromal), and help seekers. It sounds like you would be part of the healthy group; those who wish to build up awareness and resilience for times of greater stress. In the first week you can learn more about your personality.
What will I have to do to set up Tresilio?
Click on the link from your iPhone or tablet. This will take you to the Tresilio welcome page. Select ‘sign up’ to set up your account.
You will be required to add some simple information such as your email address, a password, the trial code, and your gender and age.
Why a Fitbit helps the trial?
The amount you sleep and your activity levels are scientifically proven to impact on your mental health. In fact, questionnaires used by GPs to diagnose mental health conditions often ask questions about sleep and activity. Passively tracking these factors via a wearable device such as Fitbit is an easy and accurate way to monitor this data.
What if I don’t have a Fitbit?
The app will still work well for you, but instead of the Fitbit passing information on your sleep and activity, Tresilio will instead ask you questions on your sleep and activity levels which you’ll need to answer.
Can you connect other wearable devices?
Tresilio is still at trial stage so we have limited connectivity to wearable devices; at the moment it is Fitbit only. We plan to add other wearable devices in the next release of the app. We’d be interested to hear which devices you’d like to connect in the future and any other suggestions you may have. You can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
How do I link a Fitbit?
After the introduction to the app you will be asked if you would like to connect a Fitbit. If you select ‘yes’ you will be required to log in to your Fitbit account via the app.
If you select ‘later’ you can add a Fitbit at any time by clicking on the wearable icon in the top right hand corner of the Tresilio homepage. It is the symbol next to the bell icon. Click to connect and you will be asked to log in to your Fitbit account.
How do I use the app?
After sign up, select the “Questions” section on the homepage and Tresilio will start building your profile. There will be 50 questions per week that you need to answer in order to receive your weekly detailed report. Please answer these questions as honestly as possible to get the most out of the trial.
The app will start with questions focussing on your personality. When you have answered all of the personality questions you will be able to select a different topic for each subsequent week.
Once you have completed your weekly topic you will receive a detailed weekly report including our recommendations for you.
Why is it better to answer questions daily rather than all in one go?
Monitoring aspects such as mood over time is hugely important for your self-awareness, as it allows us to provide you with a much more accurate resilience profile. The questions are combined with sleep and activity data, helping us to develop a balanced perspective rather than simply reporting a single point in time.
What is the resilience profile?
The resilience profile represents the many different aspects of your health and wellbeing. For the best results you should answer 24 questions a day for 5 out of 7 days. This will allow you to receive a more accurate weekly report and a summary view that covers each of the different resilience factors, making it possible for you to drill down and understand the different elements in depth.
I am a worried about my mental health. Is Tresilio for me?
Yes, Tresilio is built for 3 different users groups; healthy, subsyndromal, and help-seeking individuals. ‘Subsyndromal’ refers to users that may have early signs of burnout, depression and/ or anxiety. Help seekers are those who are aware they may have issues, and are taking the first important step by acknowledging them.
The app can assist you by narrowing down the likely causes and providing confidential education, advice and sources of help and treatment.
You can use the app to monitor your symptoms. The weekly reports will start to pick up any symptoms that may be of concern and will offer recommendations.
If you feel you have an immediate concern you can select our ‘Fast Track’ button. You’ll be asked a series of carefully designed questions, which will take around 10 minutes to complete. At the end you’ll receive a clinical symptom profile, along with personalised information and options for further help.
What is a Biomarker test?
Biomarker tests use blood or saliva to test what is happening in your body on a molecular level. For this trial we are offering a free vitamin D test on a first come, first served basis at week 6.
In the next version of the app we will offer a range of biomarker tests so that you can easily eliminate any physical factors that might be affecting your mood.
